My great-great grandfather’s name was Louis duPont Irving, and he lived in Sunnyside, Washington Irvings home until he sold it in 1945 to John D. Rockefeller Jr., who then opened it to the public. Louis’ great grandfather was Ebenezer Irving, who was Washington’s brother. So I guess I have a blood connection to him, and my Dad (not an Irving by blood) chose my middle name for Washington. I didn’t really understand this until reading into it in the past few years. I’m proud to be one of Washington’s heirs!

I have been to SJDivine Cathedral in Manhattan. Nothing holy in there. No kneelers. No tabernacke. They only elevate Music. St. Patrick’s Cathedral is a Gem in the Center of Manhattan. Beautiful, well designed and well kept. There are 7 masses celebrated Monday to Friday, 3 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday, plus other liturgies throughout the year. It is a very vibrant Parish. It is America’s Parish Church. ❤🙏😇
